STATEMENT

irenaPainting for me is a sort of liberation, a play between my emotions and canvas. The work produced reflects the impressions I generate through the interaction of my inner self with the outside world.
I am thoroughly interested in how we, as humans, see our world. I believe in two realities: the actuality of things and how we perceive or imagine those things.
Through my paintings, I wish to convey my personal sense of the reality, a movement of energy rather than a representation of what is tacitly present.
